Hello Metacaders! @everyone
We are going to be adding an announcements section to our website this morning that will address some of the questions & concerns which some community members have raised frequently.
As this one is hot at the moment, we felt it would be best to copy what will be added there regarding MEXC.
This will be on our website in a few hours (as well as all other announcements).
---
Why has MEXC not confirmed our partnership?
You can read our official announcement about MEXC here:
When signing terms with an exchange you need to comply with their terms and processes.
As part of the MEXC process they said they can not make an official announcement themselves, or on board us with their customer service team, until the date of our token launch is confirmed.
As Russell Bennet (CEO) has mentioned many times in his videos & AMAs, whilst the token sale ends on the 30th March, we are likely to list on a DEX first of all for a short period of time (to be confirmed, but under 14 days) and then roll out the exchanges we have signed terms with one by one.
The reason for this is that our analysis of other projects shows that tokens which list on multiple exchanges at once often have too much volatility which can then negatively impact price.
Our sole goal in this process is to ensure that the token value grows and all decisions are being taken with that in mind.
Once we have locked in the date (which is something weāre working on internally) itāll be announced like normal by MEXC.
Everyone can be assured that after months and months of hard work, we did not decide to make up some press about an exchange out of thin air. We would never announce anything unless terms were signed.
We are in communication with MEXC to see if there is something they can announce earlier to put this to bed.
We can say with absolute certainty - we have signed terms with MEXC and the partnership will go ahead as announced.
---
Why did we remove a press release regarding MEXC from CoinTelegraph?
Our official announcement of the partnership with MEXC is still live here:
We asked CoinTelegraph to remove this after a discussion with MEXC. The title of this was āMetacade presale stage 5 selling out as strategic partnership with MEXC is confirmedā.
MEXC felt that the article insinuated that the fundraising process was enhanced specifically due to the strategic partnership with them. Whilst we have signed terms with them, we have not signed anything relating to fundraising specifically, so felt that their request was fair and complied.
To reiterate the statement above: We can say with absolute certainty - we have signed terms with MEXC and the partnership will go ahead as announced.
